Edward Gross Co-Authors “Leases” Survey in the ABA’s The Business Lawyer
Edward K. Gross, founder of Vedder Price’s Washington, DC office and member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team, recently co-authored “Leases” in the August 2013 edition of The Business Lawyer. The survey was published with other Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) related articles as a part of the annual UCC survey. Mr. Gross currently serves as Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on Leasing of the UCC Committee of the ABA Business Law Section. The survey covers case law developments in several areas including the following:
- True Lease v. Disguised Security Interest
- “Hell or High Water” Clauses
- Vicarious Liability of Motor Vehicle Leases
- Rights of Assignees
- Warranties
- End-of-Lease Options
