Experience

• Advised The Edgewater Funds in its investment in Nationwide Coils, Inc., a distributor of custom heating, ventilation and air conditioning (“HVAC”) replacement coils and heat exchangers for commercial and industrial facilities. This investment represents the launch of a new platform for The Edgewater Funds focused on the HVAC and refrigeration replacement coil and heat exchanger industry.

• Represented LongueVue Capital in its investment in Global Gourmet Food Solutions, a Garland, Texas-based, second-generation family food manufacturer that has developed expertly crafted Asian, Latin and American cuisines for 30 years.

• Represented Oil-Dri Corporation of America (NYSE: ODC), a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialty sorbent products for the pet care, animal health and nutrition, fluids purification, agricultural ingredients, sports field, industrial and automotive markets, in its $46 million acquisition of Ultra Pet Company, Inc., a producer of silica gel-based crystal cat litter.

• Led Valor Equity Partners in its Series B investment in Unchained, a bitcoin financial services firm that develops technology for individuals and businesses that store long-term wealth in bitcoin and require private key ownership. The $60 million Series B funding round was led by Valor Equity Partners.

• Represented Valor Equity Partners in its Series A investment in David, a brand that designs tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Valor Equity Partners invested in the $75 million Series A funding round.
