David Hernandez to Speak at NBAA Tax, Regulatory & Risk Management Conference
David M. Hernandez, Vedder Price Shareholder and member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team will present at the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) Tax, Regulatory & Risk Management conference in Orlando October 19–20. Mr. Hernandez is a member of the NBAA Tax Committee Planning Committee, and he frequently advises clients on all aspects of business aviation transaction and regulatory matters.
Mr. Hernandez’s session, “Ownership and Operating Structures 101: Navigating the FARs,” will guide attendees through the development of a Federal Aviation Regulation-compliant aircraft ownership and operating structure that allows for flexibility to support business aircraft operations. Also discussed will be the key distinctions between Parts 91, 91K, 135 and 125 of the FARs, as well as common structures and why they are created to deal with certain FAR issues.
