Bruce R. Alper and Elizabeth N. Hall, Shareholders and members of the firm's Labor & Employment practice area, participated in the Employment Law Alliance (ELA) US Representatives Mid-Year Summit on April 28 and 29. The two-day conference, hosted at Vedder Price’s Chicago office, brought together all of the ELA’s U.S. members for strategic conversations and networking.

The summit focused on building ELA’s vision for the future and identifying steps to achieve this vision. As one of ELA’s founding members, Mr. Alper played a key role in laying out ELA’s past and current mission for the group.

The Employment Law Alliance offers the most comprehensive and cost-effective way for multi-state and multi-national companies to ensure legal compliance around the globe. The ELA is a network of over 3,000 attorneys providing employment and labor expertise in more than 120 countries around the world and in all 50 U.S. States. ELA membership is driven by quality – both as professionals and individuals. The ELA boasts more Chambers-ranked firms than any other law firm alliance. Firms are invited to become ELA members only after a rigorous due-diligence process, including consultation with experienced in-house counsel, judges, current members, and industry leaders.
