Ms. Stein focuses her practice on disputes involving state and federal employment law and she has extensive experience handling all aspects of California single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA employment litigation and arbitration matters. Ms. Stein also regularly advises clients on developing employment policies and guides employers through statutory compliance, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, employee discipline and discharge, reductions in force, and employee health and safety issues. She has represented clients on matters under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, California Family Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and California wage and hour laws. She also assists employers in the development of employment handbooks, and has provided various training for employers and their staff, including implicit bias training. Ms. Stein has been recognized in the 2022 and 2023 editions of Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch in the Labor and Employment Law Management category.

Ms. Stein graduated from UCLA School of Law. While in law school she served as an Extern for the Honorable Alex Kozinski on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
