Shareholder and Co-Chair of the Vedder Price’s Real Estate group, Andrew Torre was recently named to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s “40 Under Forty” list for 2017.

Mr. Torre is described as a “trusted advisor” whose “clients point to his in-depth knowledge of various aspects of commercial real estate transactions, his willingness to work long hours, his devotion to his clients and his ability to hammer out results that inevitably benefit his clients.” Peers say that Mr. Torre “fully commits to every client and to every assignment to achieve the best results,” and he “has a unique ability to cut through the nonsense and get to the issue.”

Aside from his legal work, Mr. Torre volunteers his time at the firm as a member of Vedder Price’s Hiring Committee and Diversity Committee. He is also a co-founder of Vedder Diverse, the firm’s diverse attorneys initiative, and he mentors Hispanic law students at the University of Chicago Law School, his alma mater.

The Law Bulletin received more than 1,500 nominations and selected Mr. Torre from among attorneys across Illinois. According to "40 Under Forty," to be named to the list, honorees must have intelligence, passion, success in the office, a desire to help the community, and a willingness to work hard.
