Vedder Thinking | News Andrew M. Tucker, Shareholder, Joins Corporate Practice Area in Washington, DC Office
Andrew M. Tucker has joined Vedder Price’s Corporate practice area as a Shareholder in the firm’s Washington, DC office. He comes to Vedder Price from Andrews Kurth LLP in Washington, DC, where he was a Partner. Prior to joining Andrews Kurth, Mr. Tucker was a Partner at Shaw Pittman LLP in the Virginia office.
Mr. Tucker’s practice focuses on general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, finance and securities matters. He represents issuers and underwriters, venture capitalists, emerging companies and private equity funds in a wide variety of transactions.
“Andy will expand our platform for general corporate, transactional and securities work to our Washington office,” said John R. Obiala, Chair of Vedder Price’s Corporate practice area. “Andy is a very experienced, well-rounded general corporate attorney, and his addition will broaden our service offerings for our Washington, DC clients.”
Mr. Tucker received a bachelor of arts from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.
