Allison Czerniak

Associate

Allison Czerniak is an Associate in Vedder Price’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment group.

Ms. Czerniak is an experienced labor and employment Associate and is skilled in complex litigation matters involving employment discrimination, whistleblower claims, corporate governance, shareholder disputes, fraud, unfair competition, data privacy and general contract disputes. She has experience guiding her clients through all stages of federal and state civil litigation, including any resulting appeals. She also has experience advising corporate clients on compliance issues within state and federal employment laws.

Before entering private practice, Ms. Czerniak served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Harry D. Leinenweber at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and before that, for the Honorable Justice Christopher Dietzen at the Minnesota Supreme Court. 

Ms. Czerniak earned her law degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and third in her class. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota. While in law school she served as notes editor for the University of St. Thomas Law Journal.

Allison is licensed to practice in federal and state court in Illinois and in Minnesota. She has been honored as an Illinois Super Lawyer Rising Star since 2019. She has also been named by Best Lawyers as “Ones to Watch: Commercial Litigation” from 2021-2023 and for Labor and Employment, 2024.
