Vedder Price is pleased to announce that three attorneys have been named as Shareholders in the firm.
 

Mehtap Cevher Conti, elevated from Of Counsel and a member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team in the New York office, represents commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, aircraft operating lessors and airlines in a broad range of cross-border finance transactions involving multiple jurisdictions throughout the world. She also advises clients in the purchase and lease financing of corporate aircraft and helicopters. Ms. Cevher Conti received her J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School, and she holds a B.A., with honors, from Koç University in Istanbul.
 

Patrick W. Spangler, elevated from Associate, is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment and Employee Benefits groups in the Chicago office. Mr. Spangler partners with corporate legal departments and management to provide solutions for litigation, compliance and workforce change issues. His litigation practice focuses on complex claims, government investigations and high stakes disputes arising from the employment relationship. He has significant experience defending ERISA and executive compensation litigation, and provides labor and benefits advice to strategic buyers and private equity firms in corporate transactions. Mr. Spangler received his J.D., with high honors and Order of the Coif, from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and earned his B.A. from Illinois Wesleyan University.
 

Andrew Torre, elevated from Associate and a member of the firm’s Real Estate group in the Chicago office, counsels institutional and commercial clients in a variety of real estate matters, including the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development and financing of numerous types of real estate. In addition to his transactional practice, Mr. Torre has represented clients in connection with commercial real estate litigation matters, including mortgage foreclosures, forcible entry and detainer actions, zoning actions, breach-of-contract actions and postjudgment collection and enforcement actions. Mr. Torre earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and his B.S., summa cum laude, from Georgetown University.
