Vedder Thinking | News Global Transportation Finance Team Represents Air Canada in First Non-U.S. EETC-Funded Acquisition

Vedder Price represented Air Canada with its first-ever EETC financing taking advantage of Canada’s ratification and implication of the Cape Town Convention and Aircraft Protocol. The acquisition of five new Boeing 777-300ER series aircraft involved three tranches of certificates, aggregately valued at US$714.5 million. The aircraft are scheduled to be delivered between June 2013 and February 2014.
