Firm Bolsters Complex Litigation Group

Vedder Price is pleased to announce that Blaine C. Kimrey has joined the firm's Chicago office as a Shareholder in the Litigation group focusing on Complex Litigation.

Mr. Kimrey, a former journalist at two daily newspapers, has dedicated nearly 20 years to working for and defending media entities. His practice also includes a broad range of direct and class-action litigation involving topics as diverse as privacy, consumer deception, intellectual property, entertainment, insurance, banking, real estate, civil rights, telecommunications and mass catastrophes and torts.

"Blaine brings a unique perspective with his media background that will add value for our clients. He also adds additional strength to our Data Privacy & Security practice. Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Kimrey was a Partner at Lathrop & Gage where he founded and chaired the firm's Digital Privacy & Data Protection Group. He earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.
