Vedder Price is pleased to announce that Blaine C. Kimrey has joined the firm's Chicago office as a Shareholder in the Litigation group focusing on Complex Litigation.

Mr. Kimrey, a former journalist at two daily newspapers, has dedicated nearly 20 years to working for and defending media entities. His practice also includes a broad range of direct and class-action litigation involving topics as diverse as privacy, consumer deception, intellectual property, entertainment, insurance, banking, real estate, civil rights, telecommunications and mass catastrophes and torts.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Kimrey was a Partner at Lathrop & Gage where he founded and chaired the firm's Digital Privacy & Data Protection Group. He earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.
