Shareholders Edward Gross, David Hernandez and UK partner Derek Watson will present at the 2016 International School of Corporate Jet Finance in London on July 6th and 7th. The fifth annual event, hosted by Corporate Jet Investor (CJI), is a unique intensive residential course led by a specialist faculty of business aviation experts. The two-day interactive course will provide knowledge and understanding on how to get the deals closed, including what determines aircraft values, the fundamentals of the sales process, the fiscal regulations that apply to business aircraft and much more.

Mr. Hernandez will present on multiple topics: three case studies, “Negotiating a letter of intent – buyer versus seller,” “Managing a hostile repossession” and “Valuing a jet,” as well as courses on “Managing risks” and “Key legal aspects of the sales process.” Mr. Gross will present on “Debt finance,” discussing the basic structural elements involved, term sheets and security documents, and how to analyze more complex structures. He will also lead a discussion on “Lease versus loan considerations” with Mr. Watson. Mr. Watson will then host “The tripartite agreement between owners, operators and financiers,” where he will discuss key issues for negotiation, the importance of relationships with managers and enforcing the tripartite agreement.

All three attorneys were also recently recognized by Chambers as leaders in the field of business aircraft transaction and financing.
