Michael C. Nissim is a Shareholder in Vedder Price's New York office.

With 35 years of finance experience, Mr. Nissim has represented lenders and borrowers, domestically and on a cross-border basis, with respect to commercial lending, asset-based lending, structured finance, real estate financing, commodities and trade finance, letter of credit facilities and loan seasoning facilities.  Mr. Nissim’s practice focuses on fund finance and capital call credit facilities with onshore and offshore feeder/blocker and umbrella structures.  Fund finance-related transactions include management fee secured lines, GP lines of credit and co-investment funding programs.  In addition, Mr. Nissim has extensive experience with private wealth financings and custom credits secured by multiple collateral classes including hedge fund interests, marketable securities, art collateral, business jets and various cash flow assets.  As a component of his practice, Mr. Nissim regularly advises on special loan restructurings and workouts and the enforcement of security interests.

  • Represented money center bank in $50,000,000 capital call facility for U.S. domestic and international borrowers structured on a partially several and partially joint and several basis
  • Represented lender in $50,000,000 package of capital call, management line and GP co-investment lines of credit for a fund sponsor group
  • Represented money center bank in $50,000,000 management line of credit for fund investment manager, secured in part with pledge of management fees
