Mr. Alexander’s practice focuses on asset finance matters, and he has acted on behalf of financiers, ECAs, operating lessors and airlines on a wide variety of cross-border aircraft financing and leasing transactions, including restructurings.

Mr. Alexander rejoined Vedder Price in 2022, following just over two years at Qatar Airways, one of the youngest global airlines to serve all six continents, frequently ranked the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax. He supported the airline in the roles of Senior Manager Contracts and Acting Vice President Contracts in the Group Legal Department. He is returning to Vedder Price with diverse experience in a multitude of both airline and aircraft-related matters. His transactional experience includes work with Asian, European and Latin American carriers, as well as Chinese, Irish and U.S. operating lessors. In addition to his experience on aircraft finance matters, involving corporate / commercial jets and helicopters, he has worked with several major manufacturers in the aviation industry. Vedder Price was named Airline Economics Aviation 100 Law Firm of the Year in 2015, 2017 and 2018.
