Prior to joining Vedder Price, Ms. Nie assisted an Illinois startup with converting from a limited liability company to a Delaware C-Corporation in anticipation of an equity deal.  In addition, she worked at a boutique litigation firm and conducted legal research and writing for various contract dispute cases and a legal malpractice suit.  Before practicing law, Ms. Nie worked at a Big Four accounting firm in its technology risk advisory practice.

Ms. Nie received her law degree from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. While in law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business.

Ms. Nie speaks native Mandarin Chinese and elementary Japanese.
