Dodd-Frank Act Raises Major Executive Compensation Issues
Topic Description: On July 21, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (“Dodd-Frank”). Although Dodd-Frank focuses primarily on the financial services industry, it contains a number of new requirements generally applicable to executive compensation paid by public companies.
