Practice Note: Abatement of Tax Penalties for Reasonable Cause: Best Practices
Topic Description: The General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Section Council has sponsored the “Tradition of Excellence Award” for many years to honor an ISBA Illinois lawyer exemplifying the traits of the long tradition of outstanding Illinois attorneys. That award was renamed the “Matthew Maloney Tradition of Excellence Award” in honor of one of Illinois’ great lawyers who received the Tradition of Excellence Award and unexpectedly died at his home in Princeton, Illinois.
