Sara Stewart Champion, formerly with the Bachelder Law Firm, joined Vedder Price in February 2002 as a shareholder.  She is the Head of the firm's Executive Compensation practice in our New York office.

Ms. Champion designs and negotiates executive employment, severance, change-of-control and other compensation agreements on behalf of both individual executives and companies. She has over 15 years of transactional experience representing chief executives and other senior executive officers in major corporations (particularly in the consumer products, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, insurance and apparel industries), as well as mid-sized corporations and start-up businesses. She is also well known in the financial services industry for her representation of managing directors and other senior executives.  Ms. Champion is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who of American Women and 2007 New York Super Lawyers.
