Sara Stewart Champion joined Vedder Price in February 2002 as a Shareholder and the head of the firm’s Executive Compensation group in our New York office.
Ms. Champion designs and negotiates executive employment, severance, change-of-control and other compensation agreements on behalf of both individual executives and companies. She has over 15 years of transactional experience representing chief executives and other senior executive officers in major corporations (particularly in the consumer products, specialty retailing, pharmaceutical, insurance and banking industries), as well as mid-sized corporations and start-up businesses. She is also well known in the financial services industry for her representation of managing directors and other senior executives.
Ms. Champion is a member of the New York State, Connecticut and the American Bar Associations. Ms. Champion is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who of American Women. Ms. Champion was selected for inclusion from 2007 to 2010 in New York Super Lawyers.
