Nathaniel A. Tiffany is an associate in the Real Estate and Land Use Group. His experience includes commercial and residential real estate lending and borrowing; acquisition, disposition, and development of commercial and residential real estate; condominium development and conversion; and office and industrial leasing.
Nathaniel has represented national and regional lenders as lender’s counsel on a variety of mortgage– and asset–based secured lending transactions. He has also represented regional real estate developers and other businesses as borrower’s counsel in connection with real property acquisitions and working capital/business loans.
Nathaniel has been responsible for acquiring and disposing of more than $100 million in commercial and residential property, including the acquisition of several Chicago area multifamily housing developments in which tenant-in-common structures, qualified forward and reverse 1031 tax–deferred exchanges and private placements were utilized. He has represented regional and national real estate developers in site acquisition, condominium conversion, property owner association establishment and management, and zoning matters.
Nathaniel also represents tenants and landlords in connection with the leasing of office and industrial facilities located in the Chicago area and nationwide.
