Ji W. Kim is an Associate in the New York office of Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team, which consists of a dedicated team of corporate, tax, securities and bankruptcy attorneys in Chicago, New York, Washington, DC and London. 

Mr. Kim represents and advises lenders, export-credit agencies (primarily the Export-Import Bank of the United States), aircraft operators and others in a variety of equipment finance matters in the transportation industry, including transactions structured as cross-border leveraged leases, mortgage financings, warehouses, revolving credit facilities, export credit agency supported financings and operating lease financings involving commercial aircraft, rolling stock and vessels. Mr. Kim’s experience includes representation of the Export-Import Bank of the United States in cross-border aircraft leasing transactions with airlines and operating lessors throughout the world, including transactions utilizing the capital markets, and commercial banks in transactions structured as back-leveraged financings for operating lessors.
