Chairman, Executive Committee

Douglas M. Hambleton is Chairman of the firm’s Executive Committee and is a member of its Board of Directors.  He also serves as Chair of the firm’s Affiliations Committee, which is charged with the identification and evaluation of strategic affiliations with attorneys and groups of attorneys.  Mr. Hambleton previously served as leader of the firm's Corporate and General Practice Area as well as its Financial Institutions Group. 

Mr. Hambleton has practiced corporate and financial institutions law since he joined Vedder Price in 1981. In addition to advising clients on financial institution regulatory and mergers and acquisitions matters, he provides corporate,  transactional and finance services for various bank, financial services and general corporate clients.

Mr. Hambleton also advises closely held businesses and individuals on estate and financial planning matters.
