Christopher L. Nybo is an attorney in the Labor and Employment practice area at Vedder Price. Mr. Nybo represents employers in all aspects of equal opportunity, wrongful discharge, labor relations and wage and hour litigation before federal and state courts and various federal, state and local administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights and the Illinois Department of Labor.
Mr. Nybo also counsels employers on a variety of employment issues, including employee discipline and discharge, disability accommodation, leaves of absence and employee handbooks.
Mr. Nybo currently serves as Illinois State Representative for the 41st District in the western suburbs of Chicago. He was an Alderman for the City of Elmhurst from 2007 to 2010, where he served as Vice Chairman of the Public Affairs and Safety Committee. Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Nybo was a law clerk to the Honorable James B. Zagel of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Nybo was selected for inclusion from 2010 to 2012 in Illinois Rising Stars.
