An attorney in the Labor and Employment Practice Group, Chris Nybo represents employers in all aspects of equal opportunity, wrongful discharge, labor relations and wage and hour litigation before federal and state courts, and various federal, state and local administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights and the Illinois Department of Labor.  Mr. Nybo also counsels employers on a variety of employment issues, including employee discipline and discharge; disability accommodation; leaves of absence; and employee handbooks.

Mr. Nybo serves on the Elmhurst City Council, where he is a member of the Public Affairs and Safety Committee. Previously, he was a member of the Elmhurst Fire and Police Commission and the DuPage County Zoning Board of Appeals.  Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Nybo was a Law Clerk to the Honorable James B. Zagel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
