Jordan R. Labkon, a shareholder, joined Vedder Price in 1999 in the Equipment Finance Group.
Mr. Labkon concentrates his practice on aircraft, engine, railcar and other equipment finance and corporate law matters. He has substantial experience in representing lenders, borrowers, lessors, equity participants and lessees in a wide variety of domestic and cross-border operating and leveraged lease financings, secured loans, as well as lease and debt restructurings. He also has experience in corporate and private aircraft and fractional interest financings, leasing transactions and like-kind exchanges.
He represented America West Airlines in restructuring its entire operating lease aircraft fleet in 2001, and represented aircraft lessors and lenders in connection with fleetwide lease and loan restructurings by both Spirit Airlines and Midwest Airlines in 2003.
Mr. Labkon is a member of the American, Illinois State, and Chicago Bar Associations, as well as the Decalogue Society of Lawyers.
