Jordan R. Labkon is a shareholder in the Chicago office of Vedder Price P.C. and a member of the firm’s Equipment Finance Group, which consists of a dedicated team of corporate, tax, securities and bankruptcy attorneys in Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. Mr. Labkon advises lenders, borrowers, lessees, equity participants and others in a variety of equipment finance matters in the transportation industry, including domestic and cross-border leveraged leases, tax-motivated structured financings, secured loan and mortgage financings, operating lease financings, asset purchase and sale agreements involving commercial aircraft and rolling?stock, as well as lease and debt restructurings. He also has experience in corporate and private aircraft and fractional interest financings, purchases and sales, leasing transactions and like-kind exchanges.

Mr. Labkon represented America West Airlines in restructuring its entire operating lease aircraft fleet and represented aircraft lessors and lenders in connection with fleetwide lease and loan restructurings by both Spirit Airlines and Midwest Airlines.
