Katherine A. Christy joined Vedder Price as an Associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice area. Ms. Christy counsels and represents public- and private-sector employers in a variety of traditional labor and employment law matters.
During law school, Ms. Christy served as a law clerk in the United State’s Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois and the Cook County States Attorney’s Office. Ms. Christy was also a staff member of Loyola University’s Annals of Health Law.
Prior to law school, Ms. Christy worked in the Office of the Manhattan District Attorney, where she assisted in the prosecution of felony and misdemeanor trials. As an undergraduate, Ms. Christy worked in the offices of the Mayor of New York City and the Honorable United States Senator Peter Fitzgerald.
Ms. Christy was selected for inclusion in 2012 Illinois Rising Stars.
