Mr. Kummerer is a shareholder in the firm's Finance & Transactions practice. He advises clients on all aspects of corporate and business law, including general corporate counseling, M&A, copyright and trademark licensing matters, distribution and consignment arrangements, unfair competition and infringement issues, contract disputes and structuring business ownership and investments.
Mr. Kummerer serves as lead corporate counsel to many entrepreneurial and closely held clients in industries ranging from traditional manufacturing and distribution to high-tech consulting. Additionally, he has significant experience in representing audio and video publishers in the entertainment and educational industries.

- Acquisition of an aluminum mill pursuant to Section 363 Bankruptcy sale
- Acquisition of two mechanical contracting businesses from a U.S. publicly traded company
- Acquisition of an industrial equipment manufacturing company from a foreign publicly traded company
- Sale of an internet advertising company to a U.S. publicly traded company
- Merger of two food distribution companies
- Sale of a software business and formation of a related joint venture
