Joshua D. Gentner is a shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the Equipment Finance Group. He represents and counsels clients in connection with a wide variety of debt, equity and lease financings, including U.S. and cross-border leveraged leases, mortgage financings, operating leases, export credit agency supported financings and securitizations (including "EETC’s" and pass-through certificates). Mr. Gentner has experience in the financing of aircraft, rolling stock, vessels and other machinery and equipment.
Mr. Gentner has extensive experience in cross-border leasing transactions including those on behalf of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. He also has experience in bankruptcy proceedings and restructuring transactions, having represented United Airlines, Inc. and U.S. Airways, Inc. in aircraft-related matters in their respective bankruptcies.
Mr. Gentner was named in The International Who’s Who of Aviation Lawyers (2006, 2007 and 2008 editions) and was also named in the 2006 Legal Media Groups' Guide to the World’s Leading Aviation Lawyers.
