Venu V. Talanki is a shareholder at Vedder Price and is a member of the firm’s Finance and Transactions Group. Mr. Talanki focuses in the areas of finance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate law.
He represents banks, finance companies, corporate borrowers and private equity funds in a broad array of finance transactions, including asset-based, cash flow, mezzanine, second lien, acquisition and bankruptcy-related lending transactions. He also counsels lenders in complex restructurings and workouts of distressed companies. In addition, Mr. Talanki represents corporations and private equity funds in acquisitions and divestitures, including in connection with joint ventures and minority equity investments. Further, he advises emerging and established businesses in start-up activities, capital raising and other corporate matters.
Mr. Talanki has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the North American South Asian Bar Association and is Co-Founder of the South Asian Bar Association of Michigan.
