Marie H. Godush is a member of Vedder Price’s Finance and Transactions group. Ms. Godush focuses her practice on the representation of banks, other financial institutions and borrowers in the area of finance. Ms. Godush joined the firm in 2006.
Her practice includes structuring, documenting and negotiating both asset-based and cash flow transactions in a broad array of contexts, including single-bank credit facilities, club deals and multibank, syndicated credit facilities. Ms. Godush has experience handling a variety of commercial loan transactions, including acquisition financing, leveraged buyouts, senior and mezzanine financing, second lien financing and health care financing. She also represents lenders in bankruptcy-related workout matters and negotiating and documenting intercreditor and subordination agreement arrangements.
Ms. Godush received her law degree in 2002 from Wayne State University Law School and B.A. in both English and Economics in 1994 from the University of Michigan.
