Mark L. Stolzenburg joined Vedder Price’s Labor and Employment Group as an associate in September 2007. He was formerly a Field Attorney at the National Labor Relations Board in Peoria, Illinois and an associate at a Chicago law firm that specializes in management-side labor and employment law.
Mr. Stolzenburg’s experience includes defending management in all aspects of labor and employment law, including administrative investigations and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and various state agencies, in addition to litigation in federal and state courts. He has a significant amount of experience in labor-management relations, including organizing campaigns, strikes and lockouts, collective bargaining, and grievance arbitration.
Mr. Stolzenburg also counsels clients about various employment issues, including discipline and discharge, harassment and other workplace investigations, and compliance with federal laws such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and FCRA, in addition to state laws.
