Paige O. Barnett joined the Chicago office of Vedder Price in the Labor and Employment Practice Area in 2001. She counsels and represents a wide range of public- and private-sector employers, including hospitals, financial institutions, manufacturers and universities, in a variety of traditional labor and employment law matters. Her experience includes the defense of employers in all phases of employment litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and the Illinois Department of Labor.
Ms. Barnett also counsels clients on day-to-day employment law issues, including employee handbooks and policies, employee discipline and discharge, harassment and workplace investigations, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
