Elizabeth N. Hall is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Area. Her experience includes defending employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies in all types of individual employee and class action labor and employment litigation including equal employment opportunity, wrongful and retaliatory discharge and wage and hour issues. Ms. Hall has successfully argued procedural and employment discrimination issues in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and has particular expertise managing electronic discovery in complex individual plaintiff and class action litigation.
Ms. Hall provides practical advice to employers on all types of employee related issues, including requests for leaves of absence; FMLA and ADA compliance; effecting discipline and discharge; conducting harassment and workplace investigations; reviewing employment contracts; policy and handbook development and administration; and state and federal employment laws. Ms. Hall has authored articles on various employment issues including military leave, the FMLA, and reduction in force waivers and releases.
Ms. Hall was selected for inclusion on the 2010 Illinois Rising Stars list, which features outstanding young lawyers in the State of Illinois.
