Lawrence J. Casazza represents a wide variety of businesses, hospitals and public-sector clients in labor and employment matters, including NLRB matters, collective bargaining, employment discrimination, employment-at-will and labor arbitration. He also has served as an arbitrator and a mediator. He is a seasoned negotiator who has successfully handled negotiations for bargaining units as large as 8,500 employees.

Mr. Casazza has been selected multiple years in Leading Lawyers Network surveys as one of the top 100 lawyers in Illinois representing business in any capacity and as a leading lawyer. He also has been elected as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, is listed in Who’s Who Legal: USA–Management Labor & Employment and the National Registry of Who’s Who. Mr. Casazza was selected for inclusion from 2006 to 2012 in Illinois Super Lawyers. The Legal 500 United States guide recommends him in the Labor and Employment—Labor-Management Relations category. Mr. Casazza was selected by his peers from 2001 to 2012 for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for over ten straight years. He served three years as the Management co-chair of the American Bar Association Committee on ADR in Labor and Employment Law, serves on the Leading Lawyers Network Advisory Board, and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He served nine years on Vedder Price’s Executive Committee and numerous years on its Board of Directors.

Mr. Casazza is a frequent lecturer on labor law matters, having spoken at numerous programs including those conducted by the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section, the ABA Labor Arbitration Advocacy Program, the ABA and Northwestern University Law School National Labor and Employment Law Institute, the University of Chicago CEO Roundtable, the Chicago-Kent College of Law Public Sector Labor Law Program, the National Labor Relations Board, the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Federal Publications Seminars, the Chicago Bar Association, the Management Association of Illinois, the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Illinois Municipal League, the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Fulcrum, The Seminar Group, and the Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council.
