Allan E. Lapidus began his legal career serving as Trial Attorney for the Federal Communications Commission from 1967 through 1969. He subsequently served as Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois from 1969 through 1973. He has tried more than 60 cases, including criminal, labor, OSHA, ERISA and other employment-related matters.
Mr. Lapidus is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. He has served as a teacher for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and presently serves as a Cooperating Attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union. He is also a Panel Attorney for the Federal Defender Program.
