Pearl A. Zager is a shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s corporate practice area. She has practiced real estate, corporate and business law since 1979.
She handles all aspects of commercial development, leasing and financing. She has extensive experience in traditional construction and permanent financing and various government programs sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Illinois Housing Development Authority, Rural Development (f/k/a Farmers Home Administration), and other low-income housing loan/grant providers, as well as bond financing and securitization mechanisms. Ms. Zager counsels real estate clients on structuring, tax-deferred exchanges and other tax-advantaged matters.
Ms. Zager also handles the real estate and transactional needs of a wide range of businesses, from small, family-owned businesses to publicly traded companies, which span a variety of manufacturing, distribution, retail and service industries.
