Michael C. Joyce joined Vedder Price as an Associate in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation groups in 2005.
Mr. Joyce counsels companies on all aspects of employer-provided benefits, including qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and legal compliance and correction. He also counsels executives and companies in a range of executive compensation matters, including employment and separation arrangements, deferred compensation, equity compensation, and change-in-control matters.
Mr. Joyce is a proud recipient of the 2010 Scott Solberg Pro Bono Award from the Legal Aid Bureau of Metropolitan Family Services. This award honors attorneys who display a strong commitment to the fundamental principals of equal protection and equal justice in the community through outstanding pro bono service.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Joyce worked for seven years as an employee benefits consultant for the accounting and professional services firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young.
