Travis J. Quick is an Associate in the Chicago office of Vedder Price. Mr. Quick is a member of the Litigation practice area.
Mr. Quick's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, warranty claims, fraud, business torts, unfair competition, intellectual property matters and securities litigation. He has represented clients in state and federal court in warranty disputes in matters ranging from the performance of electronic health records software to the condition and production capacity of a chemical plant, as well as class action, tortious interference and bankruptcy litigation relating to the failure of a security software company, and restrictive covenant, confidentiality agreement, fiduciary duty and Fifth Amendment litigation involving the departure of key executives. Before joining Vedder Price, Mr. Quick was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago and a law clerk to the Honorable Joe B. McDade, U.S. District Court, Central District of Illinois. Mr. Quick graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law, and he studied at the University of Madrid while in college. From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Quick served in the US Marine Corps as a member of the security force at Camp David, Maryland and as an infantry squad leader based in Camp Pendleton, California.
