Mr. Brown joined Vedder Price in 1979 from Coopers & Lybrand, where he was an audit manager, responsible for clients in a wide variety of industry groups. He was also primarily responsible for all work performed for law firm clients of Coopers & Lybrand in the Chicago area.
Mr. Brown initially served as Vedder Price's first Financial Manager and was later named the firm's first Managing Director – a role he has held since 1982. In that position, he assumes the responsibility as the firm's Chief Operating Officer, working closely with the firm's Executive Committee, Practice Committee and the Board of Directors on all matters of strategic significance.
