Mark J. Guttag serves as Counsel in the Intellectual Property group. Mr. Guttag has 22 years of experience in all aspects of patent prosecution, including patentability, validity and infringement opinions, procurement of domestic patents, and client counseling. A chemistry and biochemistry specialist, he also has extensive experience in writing applications for software processes, digital technology and mechanical devices.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Guttag was co-owner of the intellectual property law firm Jagtiani + Guttag.
He is registered to practice before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Mr. Guttag received an "AV Preeminent" Peer Rating in Martindale-Hubbell.
