Michael J. Waters joined Vedder Price’s Litigation Practice Area in 2003 as a litigation associate. He counsels and represents many of the firm’s clients on a wide variety of complex business and commercial disputes, including matters of trademark and patent infringement, antitrust and trade regulation, unfair competition, trade secrets, and contract disputes between corporations. He is also a member of the firm’s records management team and counsels clients on record retention and eDiscovery issues.

Mr. Waters has experience in handling all phases of litigation, from the temporary restraining order/injunction phase through trial and appeal. He has argued in state and federal court and has conducted witness examinations.

Mr. Waters lives on the north side of Chicago with his wife, Jennifer.
