James P. Lambe is a Shareholder at Vedder Price and a member of the Global Transportation Finance team. He represents and counsels clients in connection with a wide variety of debt, equity and lease financings, including leveraged leases, mortgage financings, operating leases and export credit agency supported financings. Mr. Lambe has experience in the financing of aircraft, rolling stock, aircraft spare parts and flight simulators.
Mr. Lambe has extensive experience in export credit agency supported financings as a result of his representation of both Export Development Canada and the Export-Import Bank of the United States. He also has experience in bankruptcy proceedings and restructuring transactions, having represented Export Development Canada as a secured creditor in connection with several US bankruptcy filings and United Air Lines, Inc. as a debtor in connection with its bankruptcy filing.
