David F. Hayes is an Associate in the firm’s Finance and Transactions group, where he concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, finance, corporate securities and related areas of law. He represents and advises clients in a broad range of general corporate and corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions as well as other corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Hayes counseled corporations, limited liability companies and not-for-profit entities on a wide range of matters, including business start-ups, corporate governance, corporate finance and general corporate matters.

During law school, Mr. Hayes served on the editorial board of The John Marshall Law Review. He also externed at the IRS Chief Counsel, where he prepared guidance for matters including employee health and welfare plans. Additionally, Mr. Hayes was a Biro Scholar, Rosenberg Scholar and Tax/Employee Benefits Academic Fellow.
