Julie S. Halperin joined the Chicago office of Vedder Price as an associate in the Finance and Transactions Group. Ms. Halperin focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and general corporate matters.
During law school, Ms. Halperin served as a student clinician in the Small Business Opportunity Center, where she acted on behalf of clients to help form nonprofit organizations, obtain tax-exempt status and register as charitable organizations. Also, Ms. Halperin advised small business owners regarding corporate governance, trademark and operational matters. She is currently a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
Prior to Northwestern University’s JD-MBA program, Ms. Halperin was a Consultant with Accenture, where she led teams consulting with a variety of banks on business process offshoring, post-merger integration, and systems design and development.
