Ms. Avery joined Vedder Price in April, 2008. Prior to joining the firm, she served as the Director of Legal Programs at the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), where she served as the Managing Editor of the Defense Counsel Journal, the association’s quarterly legal publication. Additionally, her responsibilities at the IADC included developing and implementing professional development legal programming for lawyers around the globe. Ms. Avery also brings to the firm her prior legal practice. Following law school, she was a litigation associate at Freeborn & Peters in Chicago.
