Tim Carroll Joins Surety Advisory Board as Expert in E-Discovery Offerings
Vedder Price is pleased to announce that Timothy J. Carroll, a shareholder in Vedder Price’s Litigation Practice Group, has been appointed to the Advisory Board of Surety, LLC, a leading provider of data integrity solutions. In this capacity and in conjunction with other Board members, he will provide the company with independent guidance, focusing on Surety’s value in the e-discovery field in response to last year’s changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
A member of the firm’s E-Discovery Task Force, Mr. Carroll has written numerous articles on e-discovery and records retention and has presented on those topics for several clients. He has counseled many organizations, including a Fortune 5 company and a major defense contractor, on electronic communications and records management processes. He also regularly consults with corporations and individuals on how to protect corporate assets, including employee relationships, confidential information and trade secrets, and consumer data. Mr. Carroll also serves as a guest lecturer on the law of trade secrets at the DePaul University College of Law’s IP Legal Clinic and has written and presented extensively on the topics of e-Discovery, document retention and privacy programs.
