Christopher L. Nybo Sworn in as Illinois State Representative
(CHICAGO)—Christopher L. Nybo, an attorney in the Vedder Price Labor and Employment practice group, was sworn in as a State Representative in the Illinois General Assembly on January 12, 2011. Nybo will serve as a Representative of the 41st District, which includes portions of Elmhurst, Lombard, Oak Brook, Westchester and other areas in the western suburbs.
Prior to his election as a State Representative, Nybo served as Alderman for the city of Elmhurst. He was also law clerk to the Honorable James B. Zagel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Nybo joined Vedder Price in 2004 and represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including equal opportunity, wrongful discharge, labor relations and wage and hour litigation. Nybo has represented clients before federal and state courts and various federal, state and local administrative agencies.
