Cathy O'Kelly Named Trustee of the John Marshall Law School

CATHY GONZALES O’KELLY NAMED
TRUSTEE AT JOHN MARSHALL LAW SCHOOL
(CHICAGO, JUNE 4, 2008)…Chicago attorney Cathy Gonzales O’Kelly has been elected to The John Marshall Law School Board of Trustees, the Board announced today. Her term is effective immediately.
Cathy Gonzales O’Kelly, a shareholder at Vedder Price, is a member of the Board of Directors of the firm and Chair of its diversity committee. Her practice includes representation of mutual funds and their boards of directors, money managers, broker-dealers, banks insurance companies and other financial institutions in connection with investment company, investment adviser, broker-dealer and insurance product matters.
Leonard Amari, president of The John Marshall Board of Trustees said: “Cathy will be an invaluable addition to our Board as we draw upon her experience to further cement John Marshall’s national rankings and reputation. She also brings greater diversity to our Board and strengthens our commitment to provide access and opportunity for current and future students.”
O’Kelly, a long-time resident of Oak Park, is a 1975 graduate of the College of William and Mary and a 1978 graduate of the University of Virginia Law School.
Since 1899, The John Marshall Law School’s 15,000 graduates have amassed an enviable record of public and civil service.
