Henrietta Worthington is a Solicitor in Vedder Price’s London office and a member of the firm’s Finance & Transactions group.

Henrietta concentrates her practice on providing counsel to borrowers and lenders in domestic and cross-border debt financings. She has experience representing banks, funds and other financial institutions in connection with a broad range of transactions, including sustainable finance, financings of energy and infrastructure projects, export finance, acquisition finance and restructurings. She regularly advises clients on a range of sustainable finance products, typically in emerging market jurisdictions, and works with corporations to improve their ESG profiles and understand the reporting landscape.

Henrietta’s practice also focuses on international trade compliance, particularly UN, EU and UK sanctions. She advises a broad range of businesses on compliance with relevant sanctions laws, including sectoral sanctions applicable to long term financing transactions. She counsels clients on the complexities of doing business in certain emerging market jurisdictions, helping them to navigate their international sanctions and anti-money laundering compliance obligations.

Additionally, she has advised clients regarding a range of regulatory compliance issues including AML reviews and programmes, anti-bribery policies, and ESG reporting requirements and strategy.

Since 2020, Henrietta has been recognized by The Legal 500 UK  in the Emerging Markets category.

Henrietta's pro bono work has focused on sustainable tourism, human rights sanctions advocacy and advising on certain diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Henrietta is fluent in Spanish and has a working proficiency in French.
