Vedder Price is pleased to announce that Andrew Sylora has been selected to participate in an inaugural pilot mentoring program sponsored by the American Health Law Association (AHLA) and CVS Health.

An Associate in the firm’s Health Care & Professional Associations practice group, Sylora will participate along with others that were chosen for inclusion in this innovative new 12-month development program.

“It is a great honor to have been selected to be among those participating in this inaugural program,” said Sylora. “I am very much looking forward to what promises to be an exciting and truly meaningful experience and opportunity over the next year.”

The AHLA collaborated with CVS Health to launch the new program, known officially as the 2023 Bridges to Law Pilot, to help address potential barriers that developing attorneys may face in their careers.

“Andrew’s involvement in the program will certainly be an invaluable experience for him as he advances his career with Vedder Price and also collaborates closely with the others participating in the program over the next year,” added Andrew Torre, Chair of Vedder Price’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

The overall goal of the program is to provide support to new diverse attorneys to build professional relationships, promote leadership and professional development, identify career planning opportunities, and provide guidance on developing competence in specific fields of practice within health care law and other practice areas within health care companies.
