Andrew B. Harris is a Partner at Vedder Price and is the European Head of Private Equity and Corporate for the firm. He is a member of the Finance & Transactions group in the firm’s London office.

Mr. Harris focuses on private equity and private M&A transactions. He has  considerable experience in share and asset purchases, disposals/exits, MBOs, MBIs, buy and builds, joint ventures and restructurings and acts for private equity firms, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals, as well as portfolio companies, other corporates and management teams.

Mr. Harris has been “highly rated” by Legal 500 UK in “Private Equity: Transactions” from 2017 to 2019, and was recognised as a leading practitioner in Chambers UK, who comment that he receives “effusive praise” for his “deft touch in negotiations” and that he is “extremely talented, thoughtful and knowledgeable.”

A number of transactions on which Andrew served as lead adviser have been recognised for industry accolades, for example, the disposal of QA by EMK Capital and Bregal Capital to CVC, which won the Real Deals “Grand Prix Deal of the Year 2018” and “UK Mid-Cap Deal of the Year 2018.”

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Harris served as London Managing Partner and a private equity and M&A partner at an Am Law 100 firm in London and as the EMEA Head of Private Equity at a Top 10 global law firm.
