Mr. Ledebuhr works diligently with commercial and individual clients to develop a strategic, cost-effective approach to achieve success in any legal matter.

Mr. Ledebuhr has experience handling every phase of litigation, from emergency injunctions through trial and appeal, in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters. Such matters include officer and director investigations, franchise and distributor disputes, shareholder derivative actions, ownership disputes, restrictive-covenant matters and other business tort matters in both federal and state court.

Mr. Ledebuhr also represents clients in securities litigation, including proceedings before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Additionally, Mr. Ledebuhr has considerable experience in counseling professional associations and defending companies against class action claims, including those under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA).

Mr. Ledebuhr is also a member of the firm’s Privacy, CyberSecurity & Media practice group. In that regard, Mr. Ledebuhr regularly represents clients in First Amendment and media defense matters, and he regularly advises clients on various eDiscovery issues.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Ledebuhr attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he served as President of the Student Bar Association, and clerked for the Honorable Judge Brigid Mary McGrath in the Circuit Court of Cook County. In addition, Mr. Ledebuhr was a teaching assistant to first-year law students in Legal Writing.

Mr. Ledebuhr has also served as a Trustee for the Greater Illinois Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and as a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago.

Mr. Ledebuhr was selected for inclusion from 2014 to 2021 as an “Illinois Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. He was also selected as an “Emerging Lawyer”, an affiliate of Leading Lawyers, from 2014 to 2022.
